A full and full Australian-owned company which is known as Auto group International Sri Lanka (AGI), is an expert in converting left-hand drive vehicles to right-hand drive and then re-exporting them globally, is now considering a significant new factory expansion despite the challenging economic environment and Government bureaucracy in Sri Lanka. 

Chairman Peter Hill started AGI more than thirty years ago when he started his Australian company for converting left-to-right vehicles. After overcoming several obstacles to satisfy the substantial demand for American SUVs, muscle cars, and pickup trucks with right-hand drive, he founded Auto Group as a Board of Investment (BOI) company in Sri Lanka more than 20 years ago. 


The company has steadily expanded over the past 20 years from its modest beginnings and surmounted numerous obstacles as a foreign investor attempting to establish a business in Sri Lanka.
